``If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.`` - Isaiah 58:10

Each night in the U.S., 17.4 million families go to bed hungry.

6.9 million families experience very low food security. That means they do not know where their next meal is coming from. People struggle to get by because of underemployment, stagnant wages and rising costs of living. In Delaware, approximately 114,370 people are struggling with hunger – and of them 34,240 are children.

Our goal is to help eradicate the hunger crisis in Delaware and across the United States through:

Meal Programs

Our meal program is an onsite sit-down program that provides nutritious, hot meals and valuable human interaction. This program will provide approximately 200 meals every evening to residents and community members in need of a hot meal. This program will serve the public daily.

Mobile Pantry

Our Mobile Pantry will bring both shelf-stable and fresh foods to low-income Delawareans. Through the program, up to 60 households will have the opportunity to access the pantry each day choosing foods best suited for their family! In addition, a thanksgiving worship service may take place prior to distribution focusing on a variety of topics including the love of Jesus Christ, financial literacy, healthcare and more.
