hunger relief

Delano King Foundation is sharing God’s promise in Psalm 34:18 with people who have endured unthinkable trauma—victims of civil war, survivors of the Ebola epidemic, and those who lost loved ones to the COVID-19.

People with Disabilities

Operation Christmas

People living with disability in Liberia face many challenges. They often face discrimination and marginalization by the public. The cultural attitude toward disability is largely negative. It is often seen as the result of witchcraft or as punishment for a person’s behavior.

DKF Village Project

orphanage

Many orphaned children in Liberia lost one or both parents to the Civil War and the deadly Ebola Virus. These children are at great risk of exploitation, emotional and physical abuse, trafficking and sexual exploitation, hunger, neglect, and poverty.

Orphans Scholarship

Education

The education system of Liberia lags many other African Nations due to the country’s prolonged and brutal civil wars and the outbreak of the Ebola virus. Schools are overpopulated, and many children, especially orphans, the poor, and the less fortunate lack access to education.

Community Water Project

WASH

Abundant in rivers, rainforests, mangroves, and swamps, Liberia is one of the wettest countries in the world. But it lacks the infrastructure and services to reach everyone with safe drinking water. Sanitation is very poor, with the vast majority of people in rural areas lacking decent toilets.

Youth Empowerment

The 14 years of civil war in Liberia along with an outdated educational system and massive corruption has resulted in an outflow of knowledge, expertise, and capital leaving the majority of the Liberian population in massive poverty.
