We Provide Stability

Today, Liberia faces a growing crisis as more children and families experience vulnerability and hardship. Poverty, illness, and conflict are destabilizing family units, increasing the risk of children being neglected, mistreated, trafficked, or forced into early marriage. The Delano King Foundation addresses this issue by empowering impoverished and disadvantaged children within their communities, creating an environment where they can develop and pursue their innate talents and abilities.

We Provide Safe

& Secure Childhood

Francis entered the world on November 12, 2018, in the town of Gbarnga, Liberia. Despite facing early abandonment due to his physical differences—lacking a left arm and possessing only two fingers on his right hand—he was not destined to be defined by these challenges. Initially perceived as unable to contribute to the agricultural work that sustains many families in the area, his future seemed uncertain. However, fate intervened when Korlue Mulbah, a compassionate volunteer from the Delano King Foundation and a dedicated Registered Nurse, encountered Francis during a hospital visit. Moved by his situation, Korlue, with the support of the foundation, took decisive action to alter the course of Francis’s life.

The organization’s volunteers in Liberia embarked on a mission to secure a nurturing environment for him, successfully finding loving foster parents who would provide him with a home. In addition to securing a family, the Delano King Foundation also committed to offering ongoing financial assistance to ensure Francis’s well-being. Now, at the tender age of five, Francis is blossoming, fully embraced by his new family and community, a testament to the transformative power of kindness and support.

Preventing Child Sale

in Liberian Ghettoes

The Delano King Foundation is a beacon of hope in Liberia, actively working to combat the heart-wrenching issue of children being sold by drug-addicted mothers in the ghettos. Our dedication to serving humanity has been instrumental in providing aid and support to the most vulnerable populations in Liberia.

In the face of adversity, the Delano King Foundation stands firm in its mission to protect children from the unthinkable act of being sold into uncertain futures. Our efforts extend across notorious ghettos in Liberia, where we offer medical assistance, nutritious meals, clothing, and the message of hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Working Together To

Extent Our Reach

We collaborate with local leaders to establish robust networks of support for children who have been forsaken and those less privileged. Our initiatives facilitate their access to educational opportunities, medical care, and skills development training—crucial elements for fostering secure surroundings for vulnerable children.
